Laura Foster Nicholson, textile artist, lecturer, teacher, and owner of LFN Textiles will serve as juror.

Entry Deadline: Non-US entries: February 11, 2013

Entry Deadline: USA entries: February 25, 2013

A copy of the prospectus and  poster for the call to entry is available for posting in appropriate locations.

2012 Small Expressions Juror, Carol Shaw-Sutton states:
“ Works chosen for Small Expressions are small-scale objects,
where the artist reveals the intrinsic properties of the material
on an intimate scale that allows a special dialogue to develop.
Works on small-scale present technical challenges for the
maker who may need to weave with sewing thread, or even
human hair, in order to achieve the correct balance of scale,
statement and harmony of materials.”
