I will use this journal to let you know about new site additions and news of importance to the basketry community. ABOUT ME
- Susi Nuss ~ Basketmaker
- I have been a basketmaker and basket collector since the 1970's. I weave historically accurate traditional New England baskets. My primary material is Black Ash woodsplint. I have been the sole author and editor of BasketMakers.com, an independent niche informational site about basketry on the web since 2001. Before that I was the About.com and MiningCo.com Guide to Basketry starting in 1998. I am one of the original five founding members of Northeast Basketmakers Guild which was organized in 1985, having served as President 2002-2004. I am also a former member of the board of the USA based National Basketry Organization.

Great to see some of Patrick's work again, they are just so full of life. He did a commission here in Scotland about five years ago of some pieces like large standing stones yet they almost flowed with the wind.
